- ATE System keep breaking down?
- Bottle neck in test?
- Equipment no longer supported?
- Service contract cost to high?
- Machine knowledge left the company?
- Fixtures unreliable?
Terotest have a developed a solution to all of the above problems - our low cost Legacy Replacement Test System,
iTest.
Often users of older Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) are unable to justify the cost of updating to new systems. However, the ongoing yearly cost
of maintaining old ATE, plus the decreasing availability of parts and expertise to fix these systems makes it sensible
to consider updating to a modern system.
Terotest can provide an initial quote for the replacement of your system, together with test fixture and test program transfer
costs, so you can assess the viability of the whole project from the outset. We offer several options for test program migration,
and our fixturing options include fixture adaptors and re-manufactured fixtures, as well as cassette and universal fixtures. Terotest
also offers a LASAR programming service.
Examples of legacy ATE platforms that can be replaced using the new iTest methodology include:
- Factron / Schlumberger: 720, 750, 790, 7730
- Genrad: 1795, 1796, 2225, 2235, 2750
- Hewlett Packard: DTS-70
- Teradyne: L200, L300 and Spectrum series
- Wayne Kerr: 3950 and Exordia
- Computer Automation: Marathon and Ironman
- Special-to-type ATE: including GPIB and VXI

Search Tips -
Getting The Most Out Of Google
Phrase search (" ")
By including double quotes around a set of words in your search, you are instructing Google to search for these exact words in
that exact order without any change.
Example search:
"digital functional" test uk
Fill in the blanks (*)
The * acts as a placeholder for unknown search terms. Note that this operator works only for
whole words, not parts of words.
Example search:
pxi * test uk
Search exactly as is (+)
Google automatically includes similar words to those included in your search, a facility which can yield unwanted
results - this is disabled by attaching a + immediately before the search term in question, without spaces.
Example search:
digital functional +test uk
Similar Word search (~)
If you want to make a less specific search, the tilde sign (~) can be placed immediately before a particular word
to instruct Google to include all words with similar meaning in the search.
Example search:
digital functional ~test uk
Exclude terms (-)
Using the - operator in front of a search term excludes any results with reference to the term that follows this operator.
Example search:
digital functional -ICT test
